My Garden - Part 2

Well I have to let you all know I have no garden up yet. The wind and rain here has put things to a halt. So I am glad I did not get it going. So When I get it going I will take some pictures. I am so glad spring is here. Get moving everyone. There are a lot of project to do.

My Garden

I just wanted to keep you all posted on my garden. I did not get done what I wanted to. Plans shifted. My husband wants to move the garden, so here I go today across the street to ask my friend to get her bob cat and grade the yard. You know what this has put me out site a lot and I am loving it. So everyone get out there and move.

Container Garden

Hey all, Yes I have been MIA again, but for a good reason. I had a minor biopsy done on Monday. I don't know why the call it minor this put me in bed for day's. Well yesterday was the first time I felt better. The only good thing about this was I don't have cancer ( Praise God!) and I lost some weight. Well back to the subject.

Why do you ask I am writing about Container Garden on losing weight? Well this is a good way to lose weight. You eat great healthy food and this keeps you moving. So time to plan that garden. I don't care if you live in an apartment or big yard it is time to start.

This week we will start with container gardening. There is a website called
$5Dinner.com. She has a place there were she has print outs. Go get a print out. We will start with the Container Garden first. I have plans to do 5 small pots or I can do one big container (dollar store)

For the large pot here is what you can put in there.
1 Large pot
newspaper
basil
sweet basil
rosemary
chives
Dill ( I will have to tell you about the great salad I had with this)
mint
spicy Oregano
sage
thyme
cilantro
Soil
so got to the store and lets get started part two tomorrow. So then I can take a picture of this.

Food/Garden

I know the last blog said I was going to talk about something else. Well I need to talk about having a garden. Personally I think everyone should try one. Yes, I know some people have a limited space, but at least try tomatoes. Having a garden helps in many way's with relaxation and healthy food. This week I am going to move my box gardens and add some more. With two of working out more this will be fun. So I don't know what is the best way to approach this. A blog or write on this blog. Asking for some suggestions?

Blogging


To me blogging about weight lose is like a journal. You get to write down how you feel. Well over the last two weeks I was unable to blog. The drove me crazy since I had no time for anything. This to me helps with the stress of life as well. Okay so some of us are personal, get a notebook and write. When you keep stuff bottled inside, someday it has to come out. What do we reach for is food. So as I have been writing this blog it has helped. Not just in my weight lose, but in a lot of different way's. Matthew 6:33 best point out what I am trying to say. So keep it up all. Life is one day at a time. We fall and we just need to get back up.

Back in the Saddle again

Hello All,
It have been a few weeks. I have been pulling double shift at work. Finally a day off. Really I don't think it is a day off there is so much to do. I have been working out a lot as well, just to get out of the office. I have lost 6 inch off my waist. I never thought that day will come when that happened. I look back at the first day I started and how hard it was. I wanted to cry when I looked at my self in the mirror.

Since then I have changed a lot about my self. In the weeks to come I will talk about the changes. Oh and start my new blog as well. My oldest daughter seen the changes and hired my trainer. lol................ The first night she went she was so sore. She told me like I have told all of you. The simple exercises that they showed educated us so much. She by far does not need to lose a lot, but it is the toning part. She hurt her back in the Army about two years ago. So they told her she needs to keep in shape for her back. Well you know that physical therapy can only do so much. Well they have worked out an exercise routine for her. she is loving it a lot. Like me she wounder what took her so long to join. Well better run, I have walls to paint. That will be in my new blog.
