Carbohydrates - Carbs

I was just checking out CGBBlog and decided it was time to talk food. Yes, the first part of this series will be what are Carb and why do I need them. Since I have been taking a better look at food I have been educating my self.
Carbs are the main source of Energy for the body. That is why it is so important to have some first thing in the morning. Please and I repeat don't miss breakfast.
He is a base line of when you should have them.
Breakfast: 1 protein and 2 carbs
Snack: 1 protein and 1 carb
Lunch: 1 protein and 1 carb and vegetable
Snack: 1 protein and 1 carb
Dinner: 1 protein and 2 cards and vegetable

Me personally I love vegtable so I have them quite often.

Here are a few item that fall in the Carb category
Baked Potato
Squash
Brown rice
Oatmeal
Beans
Corn
Pop corn
Apples

I wish there was a way to make a list of adobe for you all.

  1. I'm glad that I inspired you to write on this topic. Favorite carb... so hard to pick just one. I love them all! *haha* I would say bread of any nature (dinner rolls, fresh homemade bread, etc) is my weakness. That is why I have to limit this area so much. *haha*

  2. You are so right about the fresh homemade bread. I am really trying to stay with whole wheat. I love baked potatoes I just need to learn to put spices on them.
